About Us

Spirit Lake Resort was founded in 1969 by 'Whitey' Klassen. Whitey laid the foundation for this super awesome summer get-a-way. Spirit Lake Resort was purchased in 2016 by Jay Malstrom, Brad Malstrom, Corey Malstrom, and Melissa Rensch-Taylor in honor of their mother Marlene Malstrom.

One of Marlene's favorite things to do was entertain close friends and family, what better way to remember her than offering a summer lake experience for others to entertain their close family and friends.
